The American boxwood flourishes in the mountains of western North Carolina. The altitude and temperate climate are ideal for the growth of the boxwood plant. From this healthy start these shrubs readily adapt to other climates.
All our boxwood plants are started as cuttings from our large donor shrubs. These donor plants are meticulously fertilized, limed and sprayed and have proven over time to be superior specimens. These cuttings spend two years in our cold frames and then are transplanted to the field. We currently have all sizes of boxwoods measuring up to 4 feet.
